If the sweat and smiles of mosh pits sounds like a bit of you, you're in the right place!
Pentire the indie band who make pop songs for the post-jangle generation. This Herefordshire four-piece tell cheap lager-soaked stories of student life, a small town upbringing, and the innocence of youth, through their music!
Brought up on a diet of The Killers, Paolo Nutini and Stereophonics, frontman and principal songwriter, Jack Morgan met his bandmates in the town of Ross-on-Wye. Having lived their school lives with a burning intention to break out and play shows, Pentire have grown from making a racket in their mum’s shed to selling out venues across the South West.

Delving into a nostalgic past and de-hazing the feeling of your teenage years ‘slipping away’ from under your feet, ‘Watch Time With Me’ is a wistful window into what should have been, pre-pandemic. Toying with an emotional view of the past and the young growing old, songwriter and frontman, Jack Morgan admits “we’d been so busy networking, trying to up our social media game and playing shows that I felt creatively exhausted and didn’t know where to start. So, I thought, ‘why not let our fans decide what we should write about next?’. This one comment came in on Tiktok that simply read ‘wasted teenage years and time slipping away’ and it resonated with us, as a band we had been confined to our rooms and felt like we were falling behind in a ‘paused’ industry. We had to turn it into a song. It felt so powerfully ironic as I sat there, wasting time, scrolling through social media in my teenage bedroom.”
The song its self does not reflect that past feeling of a "'paused' industry", as it really makes you want to get up and move! 'Watch Time With Me' pairing perfectly with the, soon to be, warm weather, is something we can see everyone turning all the way up in the car!
The song does not releases until 24th March, but you can pre-save it here!
