If you haven't heard of the Birmingham based indie pop band, Lilleburn keep reading! They have matured into the next stage of their career after high praises of 2020’s self released track, 'The Dark', followed up by a lockdown release, 'Alyssa'. Frontman Ross Tidmus’ next vision of embarking on a self released EP birthed a marriage with budding local musician, Jack Cole, as co-songwriters amidst the pandemic.
Whilst, Ross’s influences of 80’s alternative acts such as: The Cure, Tears For Fears, Gary Newman have been the blueprint for Lilleburn’s modern pop sounds and personal lyricism in the past, Jack’s pop punk background; Cornflakes At Kelly’s and influences like Green Day and Blink 182, as well as the duo’s mutual love for The 1975, manifested a new direction for the band’s artform!

They have just released "monogamy" as a deep dive into a brand new soundscape for Lilleburn. “monogamy” forces the listener into a journey of self-reflection of a previous love interest, after all, you & me, monogamy, somethings don’t work out right.
Monogamy is Lilleburn’s debut for release for 2022 and debut single since Jack Cole joined its line up in early 2021. The track is rich in dynamics which lull the listener into a space of self reflection whilst the lead and solo vocal line acts as a metaphorical reoccurring thought. monogamy is the ultimate soundtrack for those nights where you find yourself reflecting over past love interests and questioning whether you got it right.
