Gold Fever after releasing their debut single ‘Que Sera’ have received an encouraging amount of support from the likes of CLASH and BBC Introducing.
Since this release they have been working on newest single ‘DB Cooper’ the rhythmic, energetic and melodic single marks their return strongly with an attitude not to be messed with. The subsequent single possesses the same energy and character as their previous release carrying the unmissable strong frame of mind as their previous release.
Their in-depth, insightful lyrics creating a reminiscent feel of some of Alex Turner’s songwriting, whilst maintaining the hyperkinetic energy influenced by the likes of The Prodigy.
The latest single by the band, ‘DB Cooper’ was released on February 3rd, kicking off the month with a bang. Gold Fever have yet again come together to produce a contemporary dance-rock anthem. The Bristol three-piece made up of Oscar JD Sault, Emily Andrews and Callum Wright, once again displaying their slick and cinematic visual identity that is becoming a trademark of their growing success. This combination is at the core of Gold Fever and is once again shown in their ability to create the banger ‘DB Cooper’.
Recorded at HUMM Studios with Dom Mitchison and IOTA’s Jodie Robison, ‘DB Cooper’ incapsulates the determination of Gold Fever’s music. Following on from this burning determination, the up-and-coming band’s goal is to build upon their initial support they have received from their audience and the media.
