After a long 2 year wait Blackpink is finally back with their new single 'Pink Venom'. The song has been stuck in our head since its release catching us with its powerful bass and 90s/2000s hip hop vibe. From Jisoo starting off the video with the geomungo (a korean musical instrument) to Lisa and Jennie’s iconic rap and Rose’s angelic voice, it’s safe to say we were chanting “blackpink” from start to finish.
Not only were we totally captivated by the music and the video, blackpink also fascinated us with their fashion choices throughout the music video. The girls represented their fashion houses perfectly as well as sporting some other great fashion brands, giving us looks after looks.
Jennie lived up to her ‘human Chanel’ nickname wearing multiple Chanel pieces like the jumpsuit that she pulled down pairing it with an Adidas top and Vivienne Westwood pearls, and accessorising her first look with multiple Chanel rings.
Lisa came in hot with her Bulgari jewels and Celine bucket hat and boots. The deconstructed skirt, from the brand Onrushw23fh, paired with an AndreAdamo top and asymmetrical jacket was by far one of our favourite looks!
Being announced the new global ambassador back in June, Jisoo was seen wearing a majority of Cartier jewellery in the music video. She kicked off the MV in a modernised hanbok from Miss Sohee and later shifted to her white corset look from the Italian brand Marina Eerie.
Rose came in shredding her electric guitar and keeping her rockstar image throughout the video sporting all black looks, like the latex mini dress and jacket, pulled together with a mixture of gold YSL and Tiffany & co. jewelry.
As the group continues to give us stunning visuals and music we can only take 'Pink Venom' as a teaser for what's to come next.
